Why we exist
Intelligent Singularity was founded in 2024 by Dr. Md Diya, a medical doctor with thirty-four years of cross-continental experience. Across clinics, hospitals, and field practices on several continents, Dr. Diya watched good software reach the capital cities and never quite reach the village. The same broken pattern appeared in classrooms, farm co-ops, and markets. The company exists to repair that pattern — by building one strong product per problem, in one shared stack, for every human being the tool can help.
A nurse in Nairobi should be able to record a patient note as easily as a nurse in Oslo. A market trader in Lagos should be able to invoice a customer as cleanly as a consultancy in Toronto. A farmer in rural Kenya should be able to track herd health on the same system used by a commercial operation in the Netherlands. The point is not to lower the ceiling for anyone. The point is to raise the floor for everyone.
A parent company, by design
What started as a single product has grown into a parent company with a family of platforms. Clappe (ERP), ClapBill (invoicing), ClapMed (medical records), ClapDiet (nutrition), ClapPay (payments), Clapwork (freelance), Apogee (farm management), Audiflo, Nestbitt, DailyWorship, Gclap, and a shared infrastructure layer all sit under the same mission and the same engineering rules.
Each product runs on its own domain — clappe.com, clapbill.com, clapmed.com, clapdiet.com, clappay.com, clapwork.com, and so on — but they share a single account model, a single payment rail, a single offline-sync contract, a single AI-agent fabric, and a single accessibility budget. New products plug in to the platform instead of rebuilding the basics. That is how a small team ships at the scale of a much larger one without giving up quality.
Incorporated in Alberta, Canada, in 2024. We are a parent company and a builder-led studio, not a venture-backed start-up. We are self-funded, remote-first, and AI-augmented from the first day. Every dollar saved by running lean is a dollar returned to the users who cannot yet pay full price. We answer to users, not to investors chasing a quick exit, and that single fact shapes every decision we make about price, feature scope, and roadmap.
How we operate
One small team. One shared stack. One shared base of open-source parts. A growing family of tools ships under a single mission, with a single AI-agent fabric powering coding, support, fraud detection, and translation across every product. The savings from working this way do not pay for bigger offices or louder launches — they pay for the free tier that lets a one-person business run real operations without a credit card.
We work asynchronously across time zones. Every code change passes through review, automated tests, an accessibility scan, a bundle-size budget, and a third-party-call audit before it can be merged. We deploy to production the same way: small, often, and reversible. There are no quarterly "big bang" releases. The version of the product you are using today is one of many small steps, each one safer than the one before it.
What we will not do
We will not build a "lite" version for small businesses or developing-world users. We will not gate AI features behind enterprise tiers. We will not charge by seat, record, or transaction in ways that punish growth. We will not require consultants, implementations, or certifications to get started. We will not hide pricing behind "contact sales." We will not ship a product a grade-eight student cannot operate in five minutes without training. None of these are negotiable, even when they cost us a deal.
We will not sell user data. We will not embed third-party trackers. We will not run analytics that watch what you do inside our pages. We will not use heatmaps, session recorders, or behavioural cookies. We will not buy traffic from data brokers. The honest version of this is short and free of asterisks: we earn money by making good software, not by quietly auctioning the people who use it.
The horizon
Two-point-two billion people are still offline today. Ninety-six percent of them live in low- and middle-income countries. We do not measure success by how much we sell to the most-served customers. We measure it by whether the least-served person on Earth can also use the product, in their language, on their device, on the connection they actually have. If that person can run their business, manage their health, get paid, and learn the things they want to learn — we have done the job. If not, we keep going.
